Seoul Botanic park is the only indoor botanical park in Seoul.

There is a newly opened botanic park(서울식물원) near my home and the office in Seoul.

I have been looking forward to its opening for a long time with the news that it will be a huge, special and nice park.

With the news, I really wanted this park to be one of must attractions in Seoul.

They hadn’t opened its door for the public, so I couldn’t see what was being made but only the building.

Oct 11th, 2018, it was finally announced it will be temporarily opened until May 2019.

Music concert at the Seoul botanic park

There was also a big news, a music concert named 열린음악회 will be held at the park, and one of my friends suggested going there with free tickets.

So many people lined up waiting for the music concert.

The music festival was held on its opening day at night.

Needless to say, it was an unforgettable moment with the very first seat I have taken and the famous celebrities were very close so I could see them.

But they prohibited taking pictures, so no more pictures.

There are tons of flowers and trees from around the world.

I want to run through this way.

I had a lunch with my employees.

The food was so good, and the restaurant name is Kuben.

That was my lunch.

It has four sections, and the picture is one of them named Theme Garden.

It has the old Korean style house and a greenhouse, and this section will be charged an entrance fee from May 2019.

Finally, I got into the greenhouse. It was hot in the middle of October.

Various plants from around the world are there.

This section is the Open Forest. See the blue light, the music concert was held there.

It was very quiet and peaceful at night.

There is a waterfall with the lights shining.

As I told you, it has four sections, 1) Open Forest, 2) Theme Garden, 3) Lake Garden and 4) Swamp Garden.

Before this park was built, this area was all farmland.
It was started to be build about 10 years ago.
I want to recommend you visit here, and see the buildings surrounding here.
The biggest company in here is LG.
LG is one of the conglomerates, and has so many companies.
Most LG research centers have moved near here.
